A step by step guide on how to sign up
Ok, first of all we need to have a name picked out, and then we can go to http://et.splatterladder.com/
Ok, now we have the page open (hopefully anyway) on the right hand side you will see a login box.
Under that there is
» Forgot Password ?
» SL-Registration...
Click on SL-Registration.. To go to the next page
This page should be pretty obvious, just fill in all the details it asks and your right.
STOP!
Before proceeding any further, if you intend on using a yahoo or hotmail email then you need to go to your respective sites email filter and put noreply@splatterladder.com in your safe list.
If you don't do this you might have trouble receiving your account activation email form SL.
Once you have filled out all the information, proceed to hitting the next button or whatever it is.
Then go and check your email, for your confirmation, click on the activation link, and then your SL account should now be set up.
Login
After you log in you will see
Go on "New Reservation" and give in your complete name and/or your Player ID. To find out your Player ID, look under "sl.Search" or "Search Player" and search for your name. If you go now with the Mouse on your name, you'll find the ID in the status border of your InterNet Browser.
(for Example "The Tester")
Now you only need to confirm and your Nickname is reserved on you.
If you successfully reserved your name, you'll find new options under "tracker Settings".
How can I reserve my clan?
A clan Admin can provide a clan profile. In addition you click on "Admin" (1). Here you can indicate informations from your clan, a member password for the clan and the password for the entrance to
the Admin range. Your clantag should not correspond to the real colors ?! you can correct this also here with the RtCW Colorcodes.
How can I join my clan on Splatterladder?
Click on the Button "Settings" (2) and youŽll see 3 attitudes.
By clantags you indicate accurately your "Nick" without Colorcodes. If you want to leave a clan, then delete this field.
If your clan Admin assigned a clan password, register it in the field, otherwise you are not accepted to the clan.
With the Clan-Admin password the Leader (or everyone who has it) can administer the whole clan in the
Splatterladder.If it is accessible for you, register it here and you have clan Admin rights (entrance to
"Admin").
And there we have it.
You should now be set up on SL and all ready to go.
NB: If you find that your name isn't working after you have registered, you will have to log into a server for about 5 min for your name to take effect.
After that you shouldn't have any trouble.

Also, when requiring the clan password, plz send ENGAGE or (yet to be anmed B0rG) a PM through the forums here and they will give it to you. |
