This question might be best answered by those in multiple clans. How can I bind a name change so I don't have to manually change my name in the limbo menu? Much appreciated to those who might know how and willing to fill me in.

should work. some mods or servers seem picky about qoutation marks.
I always use them. Some never use them.
I always end up having problems if I don't though.

That should work. Thats a part of whyI like the cfg thing.

I can minimize game, edit and save, fullscreen game again and exec cfg and go on to test whatever weirdness I'm playing with.

Bond and I spent a fair amount of time experimenting with such things.

Heres a thought. Anyone know how to turn off the rain?

cg_atmospherics 0 is what I remember, but its either blocked in NQ or I remember wrong.

Nope. But there's times I want to visit another server without B0rG tags. I can be a shit disturber sometimes (even why I try not to be). I don't want it to reflect badly on the B0rG if things get out of hand.

Thanx for the help guyz.

Well how do you bind a sound to a certain key on your keyboard. someone told me that you make a .cfg file and put it in your etmain folder; and i did but it didnt work.

Better if its in whatever mod folder your playing in.

example- I use Attack! often, written as:

bind kp_plus "vsay ftattack" "^1W^/h^.eeeeee^f!!!"

Which has the added bonus of the colorful text wheee!! at the end of it rather then Attack!.
This doesn't work in all mods. Or maybe it the servers.
I have yet to figure out some of the specifics.

Basically if you have a sound on the server that you like you can bind it to a key, the problem is you have to know exactly how the sound pack is set up. For example Obs has the attack binded to a key and it will work on the GG sever but not on the new BB (sound packs are different). If you guys want i will tear down the sound pack and post the sounds so you guys can make binds. As for the name changing its easier to just put what name you wanna use in a config file and run it when you start the game. that way you can have like 6 different configs for different servers. I have one for my sounds and one for my name.
